Review
Vuze 4.0 (formerly Azureus) is the most elaborate BitTorrent application. Wrote totally in Java, the application is a stronghold of stability and reliability. There is so much to say about this application. Perhaps the most important aspect to comment about the change of name is that, since then, the application includes a portal for high definition content, which can be downloaded for free to your computer. There are music videos, short movies, trailers, video reviews, and more. All of those are in HD and well-seeded, which means that you can download it blazing fast. But, most importantly, this application is a BitTorrent client, and a darn good one. Vuze supports all the most modern protocols and features that you would see in any other clients. All those make it the most complete client on the market. The BT client is terribly stable and reliable and is smart enough to determine what the best options for each person are. The list of features is amazingly long, but all this application offers is supposed to make the HD media download and playback experience better. Did I mention this has a built-in media player? I am sorry that I have to be partial, but I can't picture going back to my previous client of choice. Also, since it is written in Java, this will work on any platform, be it Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, etc. |
